Inoculating Loops are also known as smear loops, inoculation wands or micro-streakers. Used in mycology to streak spore solutions and cultures onto agar plates for further expansion or analysis.
Made from stainless steel so is fully autoclave, reusable and should be flame steralised before each use.
Features
a small wire loop head allows for accurate streaking on agar and easy identification and sectioning of cultures from contaminants. Flexible wire facilitates uniform streaking without damage to the agar surface.
Insulated handle with replaceable wire loops.
Will last a lifetime and is much more efficient than using cotton swabs or other makeshift devices.
